Tom Forkner

Tom Forkner Jr. has had an illustrious career in commercial real estate, which began in 1979. For six years, he served as an associate broker with a local real estate company before assuming leadership of Forkner Realty Company, a business established by his grandfather in 1910. Under his guidance, Forkner Realty Company thrived for over a decade until he made the decision to deactivate the company in 1991.
Subsequently, Tom founded The Quin Group, where he currently serves as CEO and an associate broker. With a focus on land development, as well as the sale and leasing of office, retail, industrial, and business brokerage, Tom has become a prominent figure in the real estate industry.

 

Tom’s contributions extend beyond his professional accomplishments in commercial real estate. He is an active member of his community and has served on the board of numerous non-profit organizations. In 1995, he graduated from the prestigious Leadership Gwinnett program, which is dedicated to developing and enhancing the leadership skills of professionals in the Gwinnett County area.

 

In 2011, Tom was honored as Volunteer of the Year for his exceptional work in developing and teaching a martial arts program for adults with developmental disabilities. Over 11 years, the program produced an impressive 11 black belts, showcasing Tom’s dedication to his students and community. Today, Tom remains active in the martial arts and holds the distinguished rank of master, 7th Dan in the traditional Korean art of Tang Soo Do.

 

Tom is a member of the National and Georgia Realtors, Southwest Gwinnett Chamber, Gwinnett Chamber, Atlanta Commercial Board, and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), further demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and community involvement.
